Andrea Roland - President
Andrea is an award-winning writer, publicist and branding strategist, who has applied her proven marketing approach to successful programs for a "Who's Who" of global hospitality product manufacturers, technology providers, and industry associations, as well as for corporate clients, such as Universal Studios/Florida, Sea World, The Golf Channel, and Tupperware USA. Since beginning her journalism career with Gannett Media, Andrea has held top management positions in print and broadcast media companies, commercial printing, AAAA advertising agencies, and corporate communications groups. As president of her own full-service public relations and marketing agency for nearly 20 years, Andrea has created award-winning PR, advertising and marketing campaigns for clients in the hospitality, building/architectural product, residential real estate development, and high-tech manufacturing industries.
Diane Van Leunen - Art Director
A versatile and experienced designer with an eye for detail, Diane brings creative concepts to life for Plan A clients, with a natural design talent that translates equally well in both print and online media. Her extensive range of expertise includes art direction, graphic design, creative concepting, photography, illustration, copywriting, website development, email marketing, digital production, and project coordination. As a design intern at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C., Diane produced original illustrations for National Air and Space Museum exhibits. Since graduating Summa Cum Laude from the Art Institute of Washington, her work has been published in Print Magazine's Regional Design Annual, and she has earned numerous industry accolades, including a Silver ADDY Award and a 2009 Silver Adrian Award for website design.
Adam Kirby - Director of Client Communications
As a former editor, Adam has a thorough understanding of what it takes to work with the hospitality press. He is well known in the industry from his three years on staff at HOTELS Magazine, as well as producing the magazine's most-trafficked blog. His extensive coverage of hotel social media practices has established him as an industry thought-leader. In his role at Plan A, Adam assists and advises the firm's clients on their promotional efforts and communications. He generates publicity and facilitates editorial opportunities for Plan A clients, and his experience as a member of the trade media provides our clients with a decided advantage. A journalism graduate from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Adam worked as a news reporter before joining HOTELS in 2006. In stints with Wisconsin-based publications including the Watertown Daily Times, the New Berlin Citizen and the Brookfield News, Adam won major statewide journalism awards from the Wisconsin Newspaper Association and the Wisconsin Education Association Council.
Sherri Giguere - PR and Social Media Director
As Director of PR & Social Media Initiatives at Plan A, Sherri specializes in Internet marketing, SEO and social media marketing programs for our clients. Her responsibilities include press release and case study development, editorial contact and pitch development, writing newsletters and blogs; coordinating award entries and listings; running social media communications on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook; and Internet marketing with Google PPC ads and SEO. Prior to joining Plan A, she served as Manager of Business Development for a successful hospitality technology startup, where she helped to educate hoteliers on the technology through webinars and social media outreach. Sherri holds a BA in Marketing from the University of Central Florida.
Jessica Belvedere - Account Executive
A uniquely creative, experienced and multi-talented marketing professional, Jessica delivers a fresh and dynamic approach to her clients at Plan A. In her role as account executive, her diverse areas of responsibility include account direction, creative concepting, graphic design, photography, copywriting, digital production, project coordination, and production management. With extensive experience in corporate identity programs, collateral materials and advertising, Jessica has been responsible for implementing full-scale marketing programs for a variety of clientele ranging from hospitality suppliers to medical facilities and real estate. Jessica holds a BS in Marketing from the University of Central Florida.
